Vikie is a qualified mobile makeup artist working predominantly in the vicinity of South London and Surrey. They were awarded a distinction in the ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Makeup back in August 2018, and since then has gone on to do hairstyling & makeup for weddings, events/special occasions, photo/video shoots and theatre productions, as well as children’s face painting.

In 2019 Wimbledon Light Opera Society took on our most ambitious project to date, to stage the joyous family musical ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at the prestigious, 1,600 seat New Wimbledon Theatre. We knew that with such iconic characters as The Scarecrow, The Tinman and the Lion, we had to get the costumes and make-up exactly right. We were so grateful that Vikie joined us as make-up artist for the week of the show as they proved to be not only reliable and professional but her skills and talent were evident from the start. Not only did they do a fabulous job creating wonderful ‘faces’ for these characters at each performance, she also had to apply her craft under quite stressful circumstances as the performers all had extremely quick changes and very little time to get into their different costumes and ‘character’ make-up. Vikie always stayed calm and made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. We would happily work with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and professional make-up artist.

Policies

A contract listing all of the below policies will be sent to you once a booking has been tentatively scheduled. Please ensure you read it carefully before signing & returning the contract, and before paying a deposit. By signing the contract, this means that you have acknowledged and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

I require a 50% non-refundable deposit in advance of each booking, which acts as a retainer in order to secure your slot. The full payment will be due one day prior to the date of the booking.

You will be provided with a consultation form once the deposit has been received. Please make sure that you read this carefully and answer all of the questions to the best of your knowledge. Please make it clearly known whether you have contraindications or allergies that might affect having your makeup done, as I cannot be held responsible if an allergic reaction should occur during or after the booking if I have not been informed ahead of time.

If you wish to cancel your booking, the cancellation fee will depend on how far in advance your booking is and how much notice is given. If more than two weeks’ notice is given, the deposit will count as a cancellation fee. If less than two weeks’ notice is given, 50% of the remaining balance will be due. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the cancellation fee will equate to the full outstanding balance.

If you have booked in for bridal makeup and you cancel before the trial, the cancellation periods stated above will apply to the scheduled trial date rather than the date of the wedding. If you have a trial session with me and then cancel for the wedding date, the cancellation periods will then apply to the date of the wedding.

If for any reason you need to reschedule or postpone your booking, please do let me know as soon as possible and I will endeavour to accommodate the new date and time at no extra cost. If I am already booked or unavailable for the rescheduled date and time, rescheduling may unfortunately not be possible. If we are unable to find a slot that suits us both and all other options are exhausted, this will be considered as a cancellation and the policy as above will apply.
